Ubiquiti UniFi AP AC SHD features 4x4 Multi-User MIMO (MU-MIMO) and a dedicated security radio, Ubiquitis UniFI AP AC SHD is the ideal access point for high density deployments in areas where high levels of security are required. The device includes tools for real-time spectrum monitoring, airtime utilization analytics and intrusion detection and prevention. It uses a persistent spectral scan to constantly monitor RF environments, checking for both potential malicious activity and the best channels for network performance. The dedicated security radio acts as a Wireless Intrusion Prevention System (WIPS) and a Wireless Intrusion Detection System (WIDS) across all available WiFi channels, not just those that the Access Point is currently connected to.
